The production ot flatware items requires a complete arsenal of cutting and stamping tools. Forms for spoons for example, are cut from high-grade, corrosion-resistant chrome nickel steel plates. The next process is to roll out the front part of the spoons so that the material becomes denser. This is very important for the correct balance of a spoon. As a matter of fact, it makes all the difference between a good quality spoon and a cheap implement.

The rolled-out forms are then cut on a press and the spoon and the decor are stamped on a heavy screw press. Stamping ends the raw production and surface working follows.

Costly handcraftsmanship is needed to produce flatware of high-quality. Specialists are able to establish the quality of flatware from the edges, especially the border between blade and handle. After this process, the flatware is polished. The flatware is then cleaned and degreased.

The pieces undergo a strict quality control under the watchful eyes of controllers. Pieces with scratches or small irregularities are rigorously set aside to be reprocessed.
